All our jams and marmalades are made with fresh produce and no preservatives. The marmalades are made in late January every year when Seville oranges are available and this year 80kg of them were hand squeezed, cut and sliced to make The Old Mission House Orange Marmalade and Whisky Marmalade. We noticed over the last couple of years that the 230g jars were the most popular, so this year everything is produced in that size. |

The Old Mission House Orange Marmalade contains pure orange juice, water, sugar, orange peel, a knob of butter and absolutely nothing else - just those ingredients. You get the tang of the oranges matched with the sweetness of the sugar to make the ideal topping for the morning toast.
| Old Mission House Whisky Marmalade is made with pure orange juice, water, sugar, orange peel, a knob of butter and a good helping of scottish whisky - but not too much to take away from the delicious tang of the oranges. | ![]() |

Skye Strawberry Jam - made with succulent strawberries, sugar, lemons and a knob of butter - nothing else gets in the way of the true flavour of this delicious jam.
| Highland Raspberry Jam - exactly what it says - highland raspberries and sugar and that essential knob of butter - nothing less, nothing more. | ![]() |

Strawberry & Black Pepper Jam - this raises a few eyebrows in the shop but believe me, we have so many customers who come back for more, so we are obviously doing something right! A blend of strawberries, sugar, lemons, black pepper make this the ideal breakfast jam - with an extra little kick. It took quite a few tests to get the black pepper combination right but we managed it and one of the local hotel owners was so impressed by it, they put it on their tables at breakfast.
| Raspberry & Vodka Jam - OK, maybe more Russian than Scottish but delicious all the same. Made with raspberries, sugar and then a dash of vodka at the last minute. Maybe the fact the raspberries are also soaked overnight in the vodka helps! | ![]() |

Apple & Ginger Jam - made with freshly peeled and cored apples, sugar, water, lemons and a good dose of ginger. I personally love ginger and feel that a lot of products that contain ginger don't have enough of the stuff - this certainly does.
| Spicy Apple & Raisin Jam - again, freshly cored and peeled apples, sugar, water, lemons, but this time with raisins and a variety of spices including cinnamon and allspice. Made originally for a special Xmas jam and modified for all year use. | ![]() |

Plum & Mulled Wine Jam - succulent plums stewed in sugar and red wine and then infused with cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon and orange. Something special.
Other varieties coming soon include: Strawberry & Lavender; Apple & Blackcurrant; Fruits of the Forest |
